If you’ve been actively watching my stories on Facebook or Instagram, I know you’ve seen my cycling life series. To those of you who doesn’t know, I just learned how to ride a bike this year (just this August)! Well, when I was young I have training wheels, haha!
Thus, since I started learning it, I actively do cycling at least twice a week. For the record I did 4 minutes and 15 seconds in a kilometer (I have no idea if it’s a good one). Anyway, my love for cycling continues that I even wanted to enjoy the weekend through a stroll at Intramuros via bicycle.
Bambike Ecotours: Revolution Cycles
My companion and date, Kristian searched for a bicycle rental online and he found out about Bambike Ecotours. Upon arrival, we were asked to fill up a form and a waiver to get started.
We rented the bike and we paid 100PHP (around $2) for an hour. They have discounts for students (apologies for not knowing how much) and you just have to present your school ID. Aside from the bike rental they also offer tours for groups in Intramuros. Of course, via bike.
- Intramuros Experience – 1200PHP (around $23)
- Express Tour: Intramuros – 600PHP (around$11)
- Intramuros Experience: Night Edition – 1200PHP (around $23)
- Intramuros Experience: Sunset Tour – 1200PHP (around $23)
For more tours, you may visit their website for details.
They’re accessibly located at Real Street wherein you can see the Casa Manila Museum.
There you go, have fun!
We didn’t have much issues with riding the bicycle and the Bambike Ecotours staff are truly friendly and approachable. On a Saturday morning, it is packed with students and cars at some areas as well so be sure to cycle safely.
